A Note from the Founders
Kakar began as a personal pursuit — an obsession with finding the one piece that makes a room. A 1940s Italian sconce. A hand-knotted carpet from the Caucasus. A signed sculpture quietly waiting in a Parisian estate sale.
Today the showroom remains a reflection of that same eye: eclectic, considered, and a little romantic. We believe great interiors are layered slowly, and that the most enduring rooms are those filled with objects you genuinely love.
